Visiting
Assistant Professor of Modern Korean Humanities
The College of East Asian Studies at Wesleyan
University invites applications for a one-year, full-time Visiting Assistant
Professor position in Modern Korean Humanities beginning July 1, 2019. The
fields of expertise for this position are open and include (but are not limited
to) history, literature, film, media, and/or popular cultural studies.
The successful applicant will be expected to
teach five courses for the year, including three courses on Korean humanities
and two language courses at the intermediate level. A Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is preferred
but advanced doctoral students will also be considered. Applicants should have
a demonstrated commitment and capacity to teaching college-level Korean
humanities and language courses.
