The Department of Asian Studies at the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in the Korean Language beginning January 15, 2016. The candidate will be expected to teach courses in all levels of the Korean language. 

This position is offered on a temporary basis and is contingent upon student enrollment, the availability of funding, and performance. Relocation assistance is available.

Previous language teaching experience at the college level, a Ph.D. in Korean Language or a related field, and native or near native proficiency in both Korean and English are preferred, as well as an explicit understanding of the linguistic properties of the Korean language.
