Lecturer in Asian Studies
The Department of Asian Studies at
The Pennsylvania State University is searching for a full-time, one-year
lecturer in Korean (non-tenure track) beginning August 2017 with a possibility
of renewal. The position will offer benefits and a competitive salary.
Responsibilities will include teaching introductory to advanced Korean language
courses as well as participation in programmatic service. Candidates who can
teach courses in Korean culture (literature, history, film) and who can
contribute to the growth of Korean Studies on campus are especially welcome.
Minimum requirements include Master`s degree in Korean or related discipline,
near-native ability in both Korean and English, appropriate teaching
experience, and evidence of high quality in teaching. Please submit a letter of
