The
Language Center at Stanford University invites applications for a
part-time lecturer position in Korean to teach intermediate to advanced
language courses, beginning Fall 2013. Candidates must have native or
near-native ability in Korean and English and hold an M.A. or equivalent
in a relevant field such as second language acquisition, linguistics or
related field. Teaching experience at the college or university level
in the U.S. is desirable, as is familiarity with standards-based
instruction and ACTFL OPI and WPT principles, with a commitment to
pursuing tester/rater certifications. The salary is competitive. Legal
status to work in the United States is required because Stanford
University does not support visas for part-time lecturers. Please email a
