Call for submissions to KLA Vol 26.2_Deadline July 5th, 2022

Dear AATK members,

안녕하십니까?  KLA 편집장 김혜영입니다.   한달 후면 코넬 대학에서  3년 만에  여러 분을 실제로  뵙게 되었습니다!   27회 AATK 연례 학회에서  발표하실  흥미진진한 연구,  새로운 기획과 실험들에 대한 기대가 큽니다.  또한   학회 발표가  KLA에의 활발한 기고로 이어지기를  바라고 있습니다. 아울러  미처 기고를 하지 못한  지난 학회의  발표도 투고를  진지하게 고려해 주시기를 바랍니다.  소식 들으신대로 이제 AATK회원은  KLA에 발간된 논문들을  AATK 웹사이트   https://aatk.org/registration/online_journal.php에서 한 눈에 보실 수 있습니다.  기고를 준비하시는데 긴요한 참고가 되리라고 생각됩니다.

KLA 26호에 게재될 논문의 마감일, 투고 방법, 원고 양식에 대해서는 이하 공지문을 참조해 주시면 감사하겠습니다.

This email  represents a call for submissions for The KLA, Volume 26.2. Let me urge those who are presenting at the upcoming annual meetings at Cornell to consider submitting the paper as well as those who presented in the past meetings.

** The deadline for consideration for publication in Volume 26.2 is  JULY 5th, 2022.**   Please get in touch with me if you plan to submit a paper for the volume.

Contributions solicited for Volume 26.2 are in the following areas:

RESEARCH ARTICLES 

9,000 words maximum

(e.g., experimental/empirical studies, qualitative/quantitative, classroom discourse, cognitive-functional linguistics, sociolinguistics, pragmatics, applied phonetics/phonology in classroom teaching, cross-linguistic/cross-cultural topics, heritage language learners and teachers, National Standards for Korean, and so forth)

FORUM PIECES

-Best Practices for Teaching (BPT) 3,000 words maximum

(e.g., curriculum design, exemplary teaching strategies, effective assessment practices, professional development/teacher training, etc.)

-Voices from the Field (VFF) 1,500 words maximum

(e.g., opinions on teaching trends and practices, dialogue or commentary on articles published in the KLA or elsewhere, etc.)

BOOK REVIEWS

1,000 words maximum

Authors should refer to the KLA Style Guidelines (at: https://aatk.org/journal/) for submission requirements and manuscript format.  It can be viewed and downloaded as a PDF file.
