Call for submissions to KLA Vol
23.1_Deadline December 15, 2018
Dear AATK members,
I am pleased to announce that KLA
Vol.22.1. has gone alive on JSTOR today, and that you will receive a print copy
on mail soon. Let me attach the cover
and the table of content to let you know what you will be seeing in the new issue. Editing of Vol. 22.2 is in progress, and it
will go into production within a couple of months.
This email, foremost, represents a call
for submissions for The KLA, Volume 23.1. to be published n 2019. I urge those
who presented at the AATK annual meetings in LA and Toronto and haven’t gotten
around to submit an article or forum for the KLA to do so.
** The deadline for
consideration for publication in Volume 23.1 is
DECEMBER 15, 2018.** Please get
in touch with me if you plan to submit a paper for the volume.
Contributions solicited for Volume 23.1
are in the following areas:
RESEARCH
ARTICLES
9,000 words maximum
(e.g., experimental/empirical studies,
qualitative/quantitative, classroom discourse, cognitive-functional
linguistics, sociolinguistics, pragmatics, applied phonetics/phonology in
classroom teaching, cross-linguistic/cross-cultural topics, heritage language
learners and teachers, National Standards for Korean, and so forth)
FORUM PIECES
-Best Practices for Teaching (BPT)
3,000 words maximum
(e.g., curriculum design, exemplary
teaching strategies, effective assessment practices, professional
development/teacher training, etc.)
-Voices from the Field (VFF) 1,500
words maximum
(e.g., opinions on teaching trends and
practices, dialogue or commentary on articles published in the KLA or
elsewhere, etc.)
BOOK REVIEWS
1,000 words maximum
