한국멀티미디어언어교육학회(KAMALL) 회원여러분께,

올해 KAMALL 연례학술대회는 그 동안 쌓아온 학문적 성과를 공유하고 더 나아가기 위한 기회로써, 서울여자대학교에서 개최될 예정입니다. 이번 학회는 온라인과 오프라인에서 병행되며, 연구 발표 및 워크샵 뿐만 아니라 영어 및 타 언어 교육 현장에서의 다양한 멀티미디어 활용 및 수업 시연 발표를 포함한 다채로운 프로그램이 마련되어 있습니다. 본 학술대회는 언어 교육 분야에서 지속 가능한 발전을 위해 인공지능 기술의 통합을 주제로 삼고 있습니다. 멀티미디어를 활용한 혁신적이고 지속 가능한 언어 교육 방법 및 연구 결과를 공유하고 토론함으로써, 학문의 전반에 걸친 진보와 교육 현장의 품질 향상에 기여하고자 합니다.

1. Keynote Speaker: 신동광 교수 (광주교육대학교) / 주제: LLM 기반 맞춤형 언어학습으로의 전환 (Transition to LLM-based Customized Language Learning)

인공지능 및 언어 교육 분야에서의 독보적인 업적, 학계 협력, 교육 현장과의 조화로운 융합, 그리고 지식 확장을 겸비한 광주교육대학교 신동광 교수를 Keynote Speaker로 선정하게 되었습니다. 교수님의 학문적 업적과 혁신적인 교육 연구, 다양한 교육 경험은 학술대회 참가자들에게 다양한 시각과 통찰력을 제공하며 귀중한 지식과 영감을 전해줄 것으로 기대됩니다.

2) 멀티미디어활용 수업 시연 –  30분 (20분 수업시연-10분 질의응답)

3) 미니워크샵 – 30분 (실제로 간단한 실습을 같이 해볼 수 있는 시간)

Dear KAMALL Members,

This year's KAMALL Annual Conference is scheduled to take place at Seoul Women’s University,, providing an opportunity to share academic achievements and explore further advancements. The conference will be conducted online and offline, featuring a diverse program that includes research presentations, workshops, and demonstrations of multimedia utilization in language education, including English and other language education contexts. This academic conference revolves around the integration of artificial intelligence technologies for sustainable advancements in the field of language education. By sharing innovative and sustainable language education methods and research outcomes utilizing multimedia, we aim to contribute to progress across academia and enhance the quality of education in the field.

1. Conference Theme: Integrating AI Technologies for Sustainable Advancements in Language Education

1. Keynote Speaker: Professor Donggwang Shin (Gwangju National University of Education)

We are pleased to announce Prof.Dongkwang Shin from Gwangju National University of Education as the Keynote Speaker. Prof. Shin's distinctive accomplishments in AI and language education, collaborative efforts in academia, and harmonious integration with educational practices make him an ideal Keynote Speaker.

1. Presentation Topics: All fields related to Multimedia-Assisted Language Learning, including English, Korean as a foreign language, and other languages MALL education
2. Presentation Formats: Offline / Online

1. Research Presentations – 30 mins (20 mins presentation, 10 mins discussion and Q&A Session): Works in progress will be accepted.
2. Multimedia Utilization Classroom Demonstration – 30 mins (20 mins demonstration, 10 mins Q&A Session)
3. Mini-Workshop – 30 minutes (for hands-on experiences)
4. Poster Sessions
