Call for submissions to KLA Vol 26.1_Deadline January 15th, 2022

Dear AATK members,

안녕하십니까?  KLA 편집장 김혜영입니다.  KLA 26.1호에 수록할 논문을 모집합니다. 마감일은 2022년 1월 15일입니다. 지난 6월  26회 AATK 화상 연례 학회에서 발표된 다양한 연구와 실험들이 활발히 기고되기를 고대하고 있습니다.  투고 방법, 원고 양식에 대해서는 아래의 영문 공지문을 참조해 주시기 바랍니다.
7월에 기고된 논문들을 바탕으로 KLA 25.2호의 편집이 현재 진행 중이고, 편집이 완료돼 인쇄 단계에 들어간 KLA 25.1호가 온라인으로 , 그리고 책자로 출간, 회원들께 머지 않아 우송될 것입니다.  보시게 되겠지만 25.1호에는 세 편의 논문과 서평 한 편이 게재되어 있습니다.

-'KFL Program Building in the Era of Expansion: Innovative Local Strategies for Emerging Challenges' by Young-mee Yu Cho, Hangtae Cho, Hee Chung Chun, Kyoungrok Ko and Hakyoon Lee

-'Redesigning a Foreign Language Class Based on the Community of Inquiry Model: Students’ Learning Success and Satisfaction With an Online Course'  by Jayoung Song

-'The Interactional Functions of the Korean First-Person Pronouns in Reported Thought' by Kyoungmi Ha

- BOOK REVIEW of 'Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language: Theories and Practices' (edited by Young-mee Yu Cho) by Susan Strauss and Grace Benner Kim

이 자리를 빌어 공들여 수행하신 학술 연구, 교수 기획의 성과를  KLA에 제출해 주신 분들께, 그리고 기고된 논문들을 엄정하고 면밀하게 검토해 주신 심사위원 선생님들께 깊은 감사의 인사를 드리며,  추운 날씨와 바쁜 연말에 모두 건강 조심하시기를 빌겠습니다.

This email  represents a call for submissions for The KLA, Volume 26.1.  Let me urge those who are presenting at the upcoming online AATK annual meetings  to submit a manuscript as well as those who missed the deadlines for resubmission for the past issues.

** The deadline for consideration for publication in Volume 26.1 is JANUARY 15th, 2022.**   Please get in touch with me if you plan to submit a paper for the volume.

Contributions solicited for Volume 26.1 are in the following areas:
9,000 words maximum
(e.g., experimental/empirical studies, qualitative/quantitative, classroom discourse, cognitive-functional linguistics, sociolinguistics, pragmatics, applied phonetics/phonology in classroom teaching, cross-linguistic/cross-cultural topics, heritage language learners and teachers, National Standards for Korean, and so forth)

-Best Practices for Teaching (BPT)  3,000 words maximum
(e.g., curriculum design, exemplary teaching strategies, effective assessment practices, professional development/teacher training, etc.)

-Voices from the Field (VFF) 1,500 words maximum
(e.g., opinions on teaching trends and practices, dialogue or commentary on articles published in the KLA or elsewhere, etc.)

1,000 words maximum

Authors should refer to the KLA Style Guidelines (at: https://aatk.org/journal/) for submission requirements and manuscript format.  It can be viewed and downloaded as a PDF file.
