Ex-Marine to teach Korean at Calif. charter school

Starting next month, high school students at a Porterville, Calif., charter
school can learn to speak Korean from a former Marine trained at the Defense Language
Institute Foreign Language Center in Monterey. Matt McCracken, who will use
language-learning software, websites, podcasts and other online resources in
the classroom, says learning Korean can foster opportunities for students in
