Teacher workshop at Rice University

Center for Languages and Intercultural Communication (CLIC) at Rice University is hosting the 4th teacher workshop on April, 27, 2019. 
The topic of the workshop is ‘Developing Intercultural Competence in the Language Classroom.’ The workshop will focus on discussing intercultural competence and sharing specific classroom examples and activities. 
The workshop will be led by Dr. Manuela Wagner (University of Connecticut) and CLIC faculty at Rice. For Korean teachers, one of the sessions will be led by Dr. Jayoung Song, Korean lecturer at CLIC, to discuss  ‘intercultural competence in the Korean classroom.’ With generous gift from SK innovation, the registration fee ($65) will be waived for the Korean teachers.
