KLA Call for Papers, Volume 19 (Research Articles: due October 1, 2014)

2014-07-29 00:36
Dear AATK members,

It was great to see many of you at the 19th Annual Meeting of the American
Association of Teachers of Korean in Boston.  We had an exciting discussion
during the Professional Development Workshop concerning new directions for The
Korean Language in America.  I would like to continue this discussion with you
via email over the next few weeks.

Meanwhile, we are circulating our first CALL FOR PAPERS (RESEARCH ARTICLES) for
Volume 19.

* *CALL FOR PAPERS, The Korean Language in America   DEADLINE: OCTOBER 1, 2014

The Korean Language in America is accepting submissions of scholarly papers on
the topic of "Korean Language Teaching Through Film and Literature," for a
special THEMATIC ISSUE (or partially thematic issue), in keeping with the theme
of this year's conference.

*Please* consider submitting a manuscript on this topic or any other topic that
matches the goals and mission of the KLA.  Since this thematic topic
echoes that of this year’s conference, we are hoping that presentations can
be converted into manuscripts for possible publication in the upcoming volume
of the journal.

Please refer to the style sheet on the AATK.org website for general guidelines
concerning maximum article length, formatting, and so forth.

We look forward to receiving your contributions.

Susan Strauss, Editor in Chief and the KLA Editorial Team
