Learn how to analyze learner language and consider ways you can support its development in the classroom. Learner Language: Tools for Teachers website showcases video recordings of learners using Korean and other languages in unrehearsed interaction. Multimedia activities guide language teachers to study and reflect on learner language from six perspectives: individual difference, error analysis, interlanguage, learning in interaction, reference and complexity.

The web-based Learner Language: Tools for Teachers materials are designed to be useful for self-study as well as in teacher development and second language acquisition courses. It includes a full set of transcribed videos of learners and an annotated bibliography of published research on Korean learner language, if you want to go deeper in your background reading. They are now available on the CARLA website at http://www.carla.umn.edu/learnerlanguage/kor/index.html.
