The 25th International Association for Languages and Intercultural Communication (IALIC) 2025 hybrid conference will be held at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT), Auckland, New Zealand, from 21-23 of November 2025.

The theme of the conference is “Onto-epistemic Turn in Interculturality: Revitalising Knowledges from Place,” and we encourage contributors to engage with the following themes, using the guiding questions provided in the call for abstracts when writing their abstract proposals:

1. Indigenous Knowledges and Cosmologies
2. Language, Culture, Identity, and Technology
3. Epistemic Justice, Power, and Politics
4. Intercultural Practices and Social Justice
5. Art, Storytelling, and Revitalisation
6. Education for Change
