[Beloit College] Summer Instructor - Beginning Korean

Beloit College's Center for Language Studies seeks an instructor for our intensive summer language program teaching Beginning Korean (first-year). The period of employment is June 15 through August 4, 2023. The course covers one year’s worth of college course material in seven weeks, meeting students in class for five hours per day, Monday through Friday. Other responsibilities include student tutoring and office hours outside of class, lunch and dinner conversation tables, supporting student talent show performances, and leading and joining in on student excursions.
Qualifications: A master's degree or higher, preferably in Korean language pedagogy, applied linguistics, or a related field in education or Korean studies. Native or near-native fluency in Korean and English. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in teaching Korean at college-level in the United States.
