TITLE – Part-time Korean Teacher Online for Adults
LOCATION – The position is online, so the teacher is expected to teach from home. However, we can only hire someone who lives in either the NYC Metropolitan area, or anywhere in New York State.
DETAILS – Hills Learning, a language center located near Grand Central New York, is hiring an applicant to teach one of their core languages online, Korean. We are a fully accredited learning center that specializes in Asian languages.
We are looking for an applicant who is passionate about sharing their culture, and has an aptitude to develop speaking skills in their students. Our curriculum is focused on speaking and listening in the classroom.
REQUIREMENTS – We are looking for a candidate with the below characteristics:
-Availability in the weekday evenings (and possibly weekends)
-Bachelor’s degree (does not have to be education related)
-1 year teaching experience or equivalent
-Preferable experience using Zoom but can train right candidate
-Good computer skills, to be able to trouble shoot issues with students with connectivity issues
