The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at Georgetown
University invites applications for a one-year full-time instructor’s position
in Korean language and culture, starting August 2013. The position is
renewable and non-tenure-track.
Candidates must have a graduate degree (PhD preferred) in an area
related to Korean culture (literature, Korean civilization, history, cultural
anthropology, film, etc.), training teaching Korean as a foreign language, and
native or near native proficiency in Korean and English. Experience teaching college-level Korean to
English speakers and the ability to teach culture courses in Korean and English
required. Responsibilities include active involvement in Korean program development. Please
