Call for submissions to KLA Vol 27.1_Deadline July 31st, 2023

 

Dear AATK members, 

안녕하십니까?  KLA 편집장 김혜영입니다  펜실바니아 대학에서  뵙게 되겠지만,  28 AATK 연례 학술대회에서  발표하실  학술 연구커리큘럼 혁신, 교재 개발 , 교수법 실험과  점검 등의  다양한 기획들을  The Korean Language in America에 기고해 주시기를 바라며 인사 드립니다뿐만 아니라  작년 코넬 학회에서 발표하신 회원들께도 투고를 적극 권장하며 연락 드립니다연례학회에서 이루어지는  훌륭한 발표들과  유익한 토론들이 KLA 출간을 통해  한국어 교육학계의  자료와 문서로 보존될 수 있도록 회원들의 관심과 참여를 촉구하고 싶습니다

마감일에 관계없이 연중 투고가 가능하지만,  다음 호수 KLA  27.1호에 게재가 고려되려면  7 31일까지 원고를 제출해 주셔야 합니다투고 방법, 원고 양식에 대해서는 이하 공지문을 참조해 주시면 감사하겠습니다.     

This email  represents a call for submissions for The KLA, Volume 27.1. Let me urge those who are presenting at the upcoming annual meetings at U Penn as well as those who presented at last year’s meeting at Cornell to consider submitting the paper.     

** The deadline for consideration for publication in Volume 27.1 is  JULY 31st, 2023.**   Please get in touch with me if you have any questions about the date and publication schedule. 

Contributions solicited for Volume 27.1 are in the following areas:  

RESEARCH ARTICLES

9,000 words maximum
(e.g., experimental/empirical studies, qualitative/quantitative, classroom discourse, cognitive-functional linguistics, sociolinguistics, pragmatics, applied phonetics/phonology in classroom teaching, cross-linguistic/cross-cultural topics, heritage language learners and teachers, National Standards for Korean, and so forth)

FORUM PIECES

· Best Practices for Teaching (BPT) 3,000 words maximum
(e.g., curriculum design, exemplary teaching strategies, effective assessment practices, professional development/teacher training, etc.)

· Voices from the Field (VFF) 1,500 words maximum
(e.g., opinions on teaching trends and practices, dialogue or commentary on articles published in the KLA or elsewhere, etc.)

BOOK REVIEWS

1,000 words maximum

Authors should refer to the KLA Style Guidelines (at: https://aatk.org/journal/) for submission requirements and manuscript format. It can be viewed and downloaded as a PDF file.
