The Department of German, Russian, and Asian Languages and Literatures at Brandeis University invites applications from graduate students enrolled in any MA or PhD program to teach Korean language in The position is a part-time appointment beginning August 28, 2014 for one year, and the successful candidate will also be considered for a full time lecturer position, beginning in 2015, should additional funding be secured. We are seeking a dedicated teacher who exhibits a high degree of professionalism, a strong commitment to our students, and ability to motivate learning in an engaging manner.
Responsibilities include teaching one course per semester, student advising, and administration of the Korean language proficiency examination. The applicant must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder.
