First-Time Attendees Welcome Session & Peer Mentoring Session
Dear 2026 AATK Participants,
The AATK Outreach Committee has organized two special lunchtime events for this year’s conference. These events will take place on the first and third days of the conference during the lunch break.

Day 1 (Thursday, June 18, 2026)
– First-Time Attendees Welcome Session: The executive board outreach committee (Hi-Sun Kim, Hee-Jeong Jeong, and Sorin Huh) will host a session for first-time attendees in HH160. This session is open not only to first-time attendees, but also to anyone who wants to interact with them.
Day 3 (Saturday, June 20, 2026)
– Peer Mentoring Session: To continue fostering more interactions between early-career and mid-career professionals (including graduate students) and more experienced colleagues, the outreach committee (Hi-Sun Kim, Hee-Jeong Jeong, and Sorin Huh) will run a Peer Mentoring Session in HH160. This year, Andrew Byon (UAlbany, SUNY), Haewon Cho (UPenn), Eun Ha Hwang (Dartmouth), and Sooran Park (Claremont McKenna) will serve as peer mentors
The Outreach Committee would like to gauge interest in this session, so please respond to the pre-survey (either this link: https://forms.gle/6XELYtTh4FaBYQdY8 or QR code below) to help them estimate the number of participants.
